Revival Temple Christian Church began in the year 2000, originally known as Blood Bought Ministries, when a small group of believers gathered in the cafeteria of a hotel in Louisville, Kentucky. Led by our founding pastor, Matthew Seals, this humble beginning was marked by a deep passion to share the love of Jesus with those in need - reaching out to the homeless, the addicted, and the sick. Through their ministry, many lives were healed, delivered, and forever changed.
In 2003, God led the ministry to Indianapolis, Indiana, where services continued in the home of a devoted church member. Bible studies and prayer meetings filled the home with faith and fellowship. As the gathering grew beyond the capacity of her living room, the church met outdoors on the lawn, boldly continuing in worship and prayer.
What began as a small fellowship has grown into a thriving church built on the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. At Revival Temple, you’ll hear clear, relevant, and Bible-centered messages in every service and study. Our greatest hope is that every person will come to know Jesus Christ as Savior, Lord, and friend.
We stand firm in our belief in the transforming power of God's Word, and we’ve witnessed many miracles through the name of Jesus. Revival Temple Christian Church is a place where God is restoring the hearts and lives of His people!
What We Believe
The Bible is the Divinely inspired Word of God: We believe the entire Bible, from Genesis 1:1 through Revelation 22:21, to be the inspired Word of God. The Bible is the Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16).
The Deity of Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ was the virgin-born Son of God, and He was God manifested in the flesh. (Matthew 1:23 John 1:1-2 1 Timothy 3:16)
Atonement: We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins according to the Scriptures. The just for the unjust that He might bring us to God. (1 Corinthians 15:3 1 Peter 3:18)
Baptism & the Lord's Supper: We believe that every born-again person should declare their faith by water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. (Acts 2:38 Romans 6:3-4) We believe that the Lord’s Supper commemorates the dying love of Jesus Christ. In accordance with the Scriptures as often as you observe the Lord’s Supper, you do so in remembrance of Jesus. (1 Corinthians 11)
Healing: We believe that the Scriptures teach divine healing. If any among you be sick, let him call for the elders of the church, and the prayer of faith shall save the sick. (James 5:13-20)
Resurrection: We believe that there will be a bodily resurrection of the just and unjust. (Acts 24:14-15)
Creation: We believe in the Genesis account of creation that all things were made by God, and without Him was not anything made. (Genesis 1:1 Colossians 1:16 John 1:3) We believe that man was created by God from the dust of the ground in the image of God and God breathed into man the breath of life and man became a living soul. (Genesis 1:7 Genesis 1:26)
